Seven members of Wycombe Heights Golf Centre, Loudwater, took to the course earlier this month to play a marathon day of golf in aid of the charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. The initiative has become an annual fundraising event for the charity, and asks golfers to take to their courses to complete the Longest Day challenge of playing 72 holes of golf in a day. Mike Waite, current Men’s Captain at Hoebridge Golf Centre, Woking, tackled a marathon 24 hour golf day earlier this month to raise funds for the charity LinkAble.
